国际化学年的英文：
International Year of Chemistry

2008年12月31日第63届联大通过决议，将2011年定为“国际化学年”（International Year of Chemistry），以纪念化学学科所取得的成就以及对人类文明的贡献。联合国教科文组织及国际纯粹与应用化学联合会（IUPAC）负责主导这一年的纪念活动。
