That's when I left the gang. Gave my gun to David. A couple of days later he boosted a car. They pulled him over, found the gun on him. With the possession charge, he got 15 years. And you felt responsible because it was your gun. No, I thought he was stupid to have it on him. Never should have done that. And then you joined the army? Enlisted two weeks later. I wanted to get as far away as I could. Told myself I'd never go back.
