The operator of a Tokyo-based jewelry shop chain began selling a large calendar made of 10 kilograms of gold priced at 100 million yen at its flagship Ginza Tanaka store in the city's Ginza shopping district on Tuesday.

The gold panel, roughly 129 centimeters high and 87 cm wide, is in the form of a puzzle imprinted with dates as well as the Disney character Mickey Mouse, according to Tanaka Kinzoku Jewelry K.K.
