背景介绍：

Recently, the adjusted new rules for yellow light have drawn much attention from the public. In details, it is said that if you drive through the yellow light, you will get the fine with -6 shown on your driver's licence record. After its establishment on January 1st this year, a great number of the drivers argure the policy and complain about the severity compared to its function. Eventually, China's traffic management bureau published the notice to correct previous rules at present. Instead of fining, warning and safety education will be carried out.

中国的交通事故频发，据官方统计，80%以上道路交通事故因交通违法所致。今年开始实施新的交规，由于加了闯黄灯扣6分的严格规定，被媒体形容为“史上最严交规”。不少民众在网上抱怨说，在绿灯突然转黄时来不及停下来；闯黄灯与闯红灯一样扣6分，黄灯形同虚设，不如取消。
不过也有媒体评论认为，新规虽有矫枉过正之嫌，却有助于修正许多驾驶人“黄灯加速”的错误习惯。

话题：

Based upon the above introduction, here are some topics for our writing this Sunday:
(1) What do you think of the change for yellow light punishment in China? Is it a good or bad thing for drivers to what extent?
(2) What are the potential safety risks in terms of driving through yellow light? What suggestions you want to make to improve the safe driving regulations in China?
(3) Open question: what do you think about warning the drivers who violate the yellow light rules instead of severe punishment?

范例1：

Since I have obtained my Chinese driver’s license last summer, I deeply share the feeling about its severe punishment towards the violation of new established yellow light rules. The purpose of yellow traffic light is to warn drivers that he or she needs to stop for safety because the red light is coming. In real circumstance, the traffic in intersections becomes very unpredictable and complicated. Therefore, the adjusted regulation cannot turn a blind eye to its limitation and public acceptance. The warning is more appropriate to conduct compared to the fine and driver’s credit reduction, so this transformation obeys numerous willingness to some extent.  

范例2：

In my opinion, the feasibility of the rule depends on the period of traffic lights changing and the speed limit. Based on the assumption of scientifically designed transportation system and traffic road, I applaud the rule to restrict the drivers’ speed. The rule also helps to improve the drivers’ conscience: yellow means to slow down rather than to speed up. Of course it is hard to make a full stop for a driver when driving too fast. However, I believe the situation is more complex than I imagine. Whether the preparations are ready for a new rule execution is a question.

If only we could look in the bright side, the change for yellow light punishment in China is actually not a bad idea for the drivers. The rapid growth of the cities accelerate the life style of the public. By having the same punishment for red light yellow light, it could further cultivating our patience. Although it's too much for the same punishment, but ever since then, the drivers might consider stop before the traffic light to avoid the tickets. This way, speeding or not, the fatalities obtain from car crashes would be reduce. Life is too short for curmudgeons, we should slow down our pace to enjoy life more.
