The 9th China International Garden Expo has officially opened in Beijing’s Fengtai District.

Visitors to the exhibition can enjoy an array of carefully designed gardens, specially recreated in traditional Chinese style. Nearly a thousand cultural events will take place during the six-month-long expo, including concerts and opera performances.

During the expo, Beijing’s landmark Yongding Tower will be lit up every night, and the expo itself will also be open to the public at night from July to September. The biennial event is China’s highest-level gathering for experts in the garden landscaping industry.
