Firefighters are battling a fast-moving wildfire in Southern California. The wind-fueled blaze is spreading east of Los Angeles. As of this morning, the fire was 35% contained.
 
Violence erupted following a peaceful immigrant-rights May Day march in Seattle. Protesters threw rocks and bottles at police and reporters. Officials say at least 18 people were arrested.
 
Three college friends of the Boston Marathon bombing suspect have been arrested. They're accused of trying to get rid of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's backpack and his laptop after the explosions.
 
Parents are reporting more skin and food allergies in their children according to a big government survey. But experts aren't sure what's behind the increase.
