由于2008奥运婚礼热，7、8月份上海的婚宴爆满，婚庆策划等相应服务也已经供不应求，原本不参与婚庆服务的公园、游乐场等单位也行动起来，紧紧抓住奥运婚礼经济的契机。另外，上海已经出现奥运期间转让婚宴的黄牛，婚宴黄牛开出的转让费一般在500到1000元左右。

An increase in the number of couples seeking to tie the knot this year has led to a shortage of wedding facilities in Shanghai.

想在今年喜结连理的情侣实在太多了，使得上海的各项婚礼服务设施都有些供不应求。

The problem has given rise to a new business: "wedding banquet resales". In a wedding banquet resale, a couple pays for the use of a facility that has already been booked.

这一问题催生了一个新的行业――“婚宴转让”。所谓婚宴转让其实就是结婚的新人在支付转让费之后便可以使用原先已被他人预定的婚宴设施。

上述报道中，wedding banquet resale就是“婚宴转让”，还有一种说法是wedding banquet scalping。由此，转让婚宴的人就可以被称为wedding banquet reseller或者wedding banquet scalper，也就是我们所说的“婚宴黄牛”；而他们所收取的“转让费”叫做brokerage fee或者service fee。
