one’s hair stands on end: 吓得汗毛直立。
uptight: 紧张不安的,神经过敏的。
freeze: 吓呆。
in a cold sweat: 由于惊吓或者害怕而出了一身的冷汗。sweat,汗。
freak out: 变得极其焦躁不安或吓得要死。
lose it: 这里指的是失掉了镇静,无法冷静下来。
shake like a bowl of Jell-O: 吓得抖个不停。Jell-O,果冻。
