Veep is a 2012 HBO television comedy series set in the Office of a fictional Vice President of the United States. The program is created by Armando Iannucci and uses the same cinéma-vérité production style as his BBC television political satire The Thick of It. After a 2011 pilot written by Iannucci and Simon Blackwell, the series was commissioned for a full season.

Lucky Louie is an American television sitcom created by Louis C.K., which aired on HBO for one season in 2006. HBO Films has produced a film adaptation of Game Change with Jay Roach as director. The film, which focuses primarily on the third part of the book, premiered on 10 March 2012.It went on to win several Emmy's, including best actress for Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin.

Hatfields & McCoys was a three-part miniseries on the History cable TV network based on the Hatfield–McCoy feud. Each episode aired for two hours on May 28, 29, and 30, 2012.
