Brad Pitt dresses in cowboy gear in this first look at the set of his new film The Counselor on Monday (July 30) at a hotel in Central London, England.

“I’m only doing a few days on that. [Killing Them Softly director] Andrew [Dominik] and I are both Cormac McCarthy fans – I mean, I’ve read every word the guy’s published and most of them more than once. So this was a chance to do something of his and also to work with Ridley [Scott] again. Ridley gave me my first break into the big leagues. And I’m a [Michael] Fassbender fanatic too,” Brad previously told Empire of working on the film.

《顾问》主要讲述由迈克尔·法斯宾德(Michael Fassbender)饰演的律师在贩卖价值2千万美元的毒品可卡因后遭遇可怕后果的故事。影片卡司阵容巨星云集，除了皮特和迈克尔·法斯宾德之外，还有哈维尔·巴登(Javier Bardem)、佩妮洛普·克鲁兹(Penélope Cruz)、卡梅隆·迪亚茨(Cameron Diaz)以及因出演美剧《绝命毒师》(Breaking Bad)而成名的迪恩·诺里斯(Dean Norris)等著名影星也加盟参演。

《顾问》导演是曾执导《角斗士》(Gladiator)、《黑鹰坠落》(Black Hawk Down)等经典之作的英国人雷德利·斯科特(Ridley Scott)。影片编剧考麦克·麦卡锡(Cormac McCarthy)是曾获普利策奖的美国著名作家；身为《老无所依》(No Country for Old Men)、《末日危途》(The Road)等影片原著小说作者，麦卡锡此番首次试水电影编剧。

谈到参与本片的过程，布拉德·皮特在接受《帝国》杂志采访时表示他对于麦卡锡的迷恋，“我只用了一点时间考虑，我和安德鲁（安德鲁·多米尼克）都是考麦克·麦卡锡的粉丝。他出版的每本书我都读过很多还不止一次，所以这是一次绝好的机会能演出他的作品，而且再次和雷德利合作。此外感谢雷德利给了我这个机会加入这样一个群星闪耀的大团队，我也是法斯宾德的粉丝”。

目前该片正在伦敦拍摄之中。
