Katy Perry underwent a dramatic makeover for the cover of the upcoming March issue of Interview Magazine -- she's almost unrecognizable! On the cover, shot by Mikael Jansson and styled by Karl Templer, Katy ditched her electric blue 'do for a dark, updated take on a teased-out '80's perm.

Perry glammed it up in a bejeweled bustier and sexy, full-length gloves. As for her makeup -- Katy's dramatic cat eyes and thick brows remind of us of classic Hollywood style icons like Sophia Loren and Brigitte Bardot.

We think she looks absolutely gorgeous, and we can wait to read the interview when the mag hits stands -- especially because she was interviewed by the hilarious comedian/actress Kristen Wiig!
