布冯在昨天为美国人的生物物种做的定论引起了美国人的墙裂不满。托马斯杰斐逊找人狩猎了麋鹿来向法国人展示美洲大陆的物种优良。与此同时，在威斯塔的家乡费城，博物学家着手装配一头大象似的大动物的骨头。以此证明法国人不可一世的论点是多么可笑啊！！~~~
