A Nigerian man is facing a mandatory sentence of life in prison. That's after pleading guilty to charges that he tried to bring down the flight near Detroit on Christmas of 2009 with the bomb in his underwear. The surprise guilty plea came during the second day of testimony.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is calling it a “dangerous escalation in Iran's support for terrorism.” She’s talking about the alleged Iranian plot to kill Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States. Charges have been filed against two men.

A San Francisco Giants fan who was severely beaten outside Dodger Stadium in March has been released from the hospital and transferred to a rehabilitation facility. Bryan Stow suffered serious brain injury in the attack and spent time in a coma.

And a South Africa mountain biker’s collision with an antelope during a race has become an internet sensation. This video posted on YouTube has been viewed more than 5 million times. Race organizers say the cyclist was not badly hurt. And the antelope returned to his herd to graze.
