Heavy anti-aircraft fire is lighting up the skies over Tripoli. The gunfire appears to signal a fourth night of American and European air operations over Libya to enforce a no-fly zone. The U.S. lost a fighter jet which went down after suffering mechanical problems.

Former football star Lawrence Taylor was sentenced to six years on probation. The New York Giants ex-linebacker pleaded guilty in January to sexual misconduct and having sex with an underage prostitute. But the girl told the media Taylor should have gone to jail.

There's still a lot of work to do at a damaged Japanese nuclear plant before the cooling systems can be turned back on. Even though the power's been restored, the plant operator says workers have to check all of the equipment for damage.

And rapper Ja Rule has pleaded guilty to tax evasion in New Jersey. The platinum-selling entertainer admitted to not paying taxes on more than $3 million in income earned between 2004 and 2006. He's expected to be sentenced on the charges in June.
