An angry online posting from the 17-year-old who opened fire at a Nebraska high school is offering clues about the violence. Authorities say Robert Butler killed an assistant principal and wounded the principal before fatally shooting himself. Butler had posted on Facebook shortly before the shooting about his unhappiness at the school.

The presidential panel investigating the BP oil well blowout says a series of risky decisions that saved time and money caused the disaster. The report concluded that BP, Halliburton and Transocean did not adequately consider how decisions would increase risk. The commission says if they had, the blowout would have been prevented.

Another set of raunchy videos laced with insensitive jokes and profanity have emerged. The Navy Times, which independently obtained the videos, posted them on its website. Captain Owen Honors was fired this week from command of the USS Enterprise because of the videos.

One of the two winners in Tuesday's Mega Millions lottery jackpot is scheduled to come forward today. The owner of the lucky ticket in Washington is expected to bring his family to claim the winnings. A winner in Idaho still has not been revealed. The two winning tickets will split $380 million.
