 青出于蓝？
 
 
昨天讲过，blue 在英语里表示“忧郁”、“悲伤”等情绪。
 
不过，out of the blue 和悲伤完全没有关系，这个词组的意思是“突然地”、“出乎意料地”。
 
比如：
 
The rival company just launched a new product out of the blue.
对手公司突然就毫无征兆地发布了一款新产品。
 
这里的 blue 指的其实是“天空”。
 
所以 out of the blue 的意思是“简直像是从天上掉下来的一样”。
