The stars of the new biopic, "Bruce Lee, My Brother" toasted the film as it premiered in Hong Kong, Thursday November 11, 2010.

The film looks at the legendary action star's youth - exploring an early romance, his family life and his first steps in Chinese martial arts training.

Actress Christy Chung played Lee's mother. She speaks highly of the performance of leading actor Aarif Lee.

"I used to work with young actors. Aarif Lee was earnest about his work. They were very nice to me. He always called me 'mother' on the set. We were just like family and I enjoyed it."

Chung also took her new-born baby with her while filming in Guangzhou.

"The project proceeded during summer time in July. I took my new-born baby with me to Guangzhou. So I had to take care of my baby in the hotel."

Aarif Lee, the Imperial college graduate who won the best newcomer award for his outstanding performance in "Echoes of the rainbow" at the Hong Kong film awards this year, also attended the gala premiere.

The 23-year-old young actor talks about the early romance of the well-known action star he played in the film.

"Bruce Lee was very nervous when he met the girl he liked. Although he was bold and confident; he was nervous about meeting girls. That's sort of relationship me and Jennifer Tse developed in the film, since Lee did not dare to."

The new film is scheduled for release two days before Bruce Lee's 70th birthday on November 27 in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and southeast Asia.
