An ordinary safety-pin can be used in very many cases as a substitute for a bodkin. Fasten the pin to the end of the tape, and thread the tape through the hem of the material in the usual way.
在很多情况下，一个安全别针就能起到大粗孔引针的作用。把别针系在胶带的末端，再按通常的方式把胶带穿过衣服的边缝。
