This Labor Day President Barack Obama travels to Milwaukee, talking up the American worker but saying powerful interests of Washington are talking down to him, saying they speak about him like a dog. Obama wants to spend big bucks fixing things like railways and bridges.

Hurricane watches ruffle along the coasts of Texas and Mexico ahead of Hermine. The tropical storm is expected to make landfall just south of the U.S. border, bringing close to a foot of rain.

One person is dead, three others on board a small plane injured after it crashes about 30 feet from house in Henderson, Nevada. Police say it’s a miracle no one on the ground was killed.

This 24-year-old from Colombia is now the world’s shortest living man at 27 inches. That’s slightly taller than a piece of carry-on luggage, weighing in at 22 pounds.
