There is much controversy over whether technology plays an indispensable role in school. Some argue that advanced technology has brought much convenience to students, while enriching the teaching methods in class. However, others adopt a completely different view. They believe technology can be used as an auxiliary tool for interactive teaching and learning, but one can never rely too much on technology.

Given the factors I have just outlined, it can be concluded that the question quite depends on personal choice. However, to my knowledge, I am fully convinced that technology is not everything and one should be very prudent in using the technology.

       As we can see from the picture, two persons are discussing about reading. While to our amusement, the boy says his favorite book is Facebook. The picture seems to be humorous and ridiculous but thought-provoking on second thoughts, which intends to inform us that the social network has exerted an important impact on our daily reading.

       Opinions vary when it comes to the impact of social networking websites on reading. Some people insist that social network provides them with large collections of information at a tremendous speed and stimulates their reading interest. On the contrary, other people claim that nowadays a host of youngsters pay so much attention to reading on social networks that they don’t have adequate opportunities or time to read traditional books.

       There is no surprise that there are different opinions about the impact of social networking websites on reading. However, as a college student, I am convinced that it is necessary for us to read on social networking websites, but it is of greater necessity for us to read traditional books. We can never overly depend on social network. Only in this way can we become more educated and have a more bright future.

2.    引言类模板

第一部分：概要

第一类引言：题目当中非常清晰地指出写作的内容。

如：Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay about the impact of the information explosion by referring to the saying “A wealth of information creates a poverty of attention.” You can give examples to illustrate your point and then explain what you can do to avoid being distracted by irrelevant information. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

题目要求围绕着the impact of the information explosion来写，并给出例证，解释what you can do to avoid being distracted by irrelevant information.

第二类引言：题目当中并没有指出写作的内容，只给引言。

针对于第二类引言，大家的当务之急就是从这句引言中，选择一个合适的主题。注意：题干没有给出要求，只要扣住引言，原理上都不偏题。比如：I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious. 显然这句话的重心在curious上，讲述了好奇心的重要性。用天龙八部的话说：Curiosity plays an extremely important role in achieving success. 或者Curiosity exerts a huge impact on one’s life and career.

第二部分：写法

1. 经典模块版：

这种模式帮助各位同学迅速上手，在考场上构思出一片上乘的佳作，再辅之以我前几天的内容，相信大家能在规定时间内完成。

第一段：重述引言，并且讲述引言的含义。

再来看一篇短小的参考范文：

For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay explaining why it is unwise to put all eggs in one basket. You can give explain to illustrate your point. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

    Choosing a right strategy can exert a huge impact on our success. An English saying goes like this: Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. What it wants to reveal is that it is unwise to be totally dependent on one resource.

    There are several reasons contributing to the validity of this principle. To begin with, it is rather risky to put all the hope in one place. If one can have a contingency plan, it can deal with the unexpected when it comes to important event. What’s more, focusing on all the aspects at the same time contributes to a more balanced life. It has been widely noted that it is of utmost importance for a man to be equipped with knowledge. Knowledge allows one to understand the history of the world, the secrets of the universe and the stories of celebrities. Consequently, one can consider knowledge as priceless treasure. However, a bellyful of theories but very little experience makes us somewhat bookish. Without much practice, we can hardly make use of knowledge, and hence fail to unlock the treasure of knowledge. As the saying goes, ”Practice makes perfect”.

As a chemistry student, I have learned virtually all the fundamental principles in the chemical world during my university life.
