说明利弊论说是近几年英语四六级常见的考题之一，它一般要求作者针对某一个事物或者现象从正反两方面辩论它的优缺点，然后表明作者自己对该事物或者现象的观点和看法。这类题型一般可写成三段式文章。

第一段：抓住重点，直接了当描述某一现象（事物）。
第二段：分别分析其优点和缺点。
第三段：我的态度或看法。
