The Little Green Frog 小青蛙

Long,long ago,there lived a little green frog that never listened to his mother.In fact,he always did the exact opposite of what is mother told him to do.

很久很久以前，有一只小青蛙，他从来不听妈妈的话。事实上，妈妈让他做的，他不做，妈妈不让他做的，他偏要做。他总是和妈妈对着干。

"Honey,don't get close to the pond.You must be careful of the big bad frogs inside the pond.You must stay away from there."
"No,no!I'm going to play inside the pond."

“宝贝，不要接近那个池塘。你要小心池塘里的大青蛙，他们很坏的。一定要离那边远远的！”
“我不，我就不！我要去那个池塘里玩了。”

The little green frog didn't listen to his mother again,and went inside the pond to play.

小青蛙又不听妈妈的话了，他跑到池塘里玩了起来。

One day,the Mother frog called for her son to tell him something.
"Honey,please listen to your mother.What will you do if your mother gets sick because you make her worry so much?"
Upon hearing this,the little frog had a change of heart.

一天，青蛙妈妈叫住儿子，她要告诉他一些事情。
"宝贝，听妈妈的话吧。想想，如果有一天，妈妈生病了，就因为你一直做这些让妈妈操心的事情，到那时候你会怎么做？"
听到这些，小青蛙的心态有点变了。

But one day,the Mother frog really became ill and was bed-ridden...
"Honey,I don't think I can live much longer.If I die,bury me by the side of the stream."
"Mother,please don't die.I'm sorry for not listening to you!"

然而有一天，青蛙妈妈真的病的非常重，卧床不起……
“宝贝，我觉得我快死了。如果我死了，把我埋在小河边吧。”
“妈妈，请你不要离开我。我以前没听你的话，我知道错了!”

But the Mother frog soon died from her illness.
"Mother!Don't leave me!"He felt terrible about what he did in the past.But there was nothing the little green frog could do.He really wanted to bury his mother in the mountain.What the little green frog didn't know was that his mother really wanted him to bury her in the mountain. So the mother told him to opposite of what she wanted...
"Mother! I'm so sorry for everything. I should have listened to you when you were alive. Please forgive me. Oh,mother!"
尽管这样，青蛙妈妈的病情还是没有好转，她去世了。
“妈妈，不要离开我！”他意识到自己以前做的是多么的可恶多么的糟糕。可是，现在什么也无法挽救了。他很想将妈妈葬在山上。可是小青蛙不知道的是，其实，他的妈妈也希望自己被葬在山上，因而妈妈告诉了他相反的想法……
“妈妈！以前所做的我非常后悔！当你还在的时候，我应该听你的话的。请原谅我吧，妈妈。噢！”

The little green frog wanted to listen to his mother this one time and decided to do exactly what his mother told him to do. So he carefully gently buried his mother by the side of the stream.

小青蛙这次想听妈妈的话了，他决定按着妈妈所交代的事情去做。于是他很认真很仔细地将妈妈葬在了小溪边。

After a few days of his mother's death, it rained a great deal and the stream swelled. The little green frog began to worry about his mother's grave."What should I do? My mother's grave was swept away."Until today, the little green frog cries in fear that his mother's grave will be washed away.

青蛙妈妈去世后不久，一场大雨袭来，小溪水位也高了很多。小青蛙开始担心妈妈的墓了。“我要怎么做。妈妈的墓快要被冲毁了”一直到现在，小青蛙还在哭泣，他在担心有一天，妈妈的墓会被冲毁。
