China is continuing to improve its recall mechanism. The country's quality watchdog has introduced stricter penalties for companies who breach standards. They also cover a wider range of products.

中国在不断完善其缺陷商品召回机制。对于不符合管理标准的公司，国家质检总局将采用更加严厉的惩罚措施。同时，管理条例中所纳入的商品范围也有所扩大。

China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has released the new guidelines for public consideration. Now, car makers that intentionally hide problems with their products, or refuse to recall their products will face stricter penalties. They could be fined 50 percent of their products value.

国家质量监督检验检疫总局公布了新政策的征求意见稿。现在，汽车制造商有故意隐瞒其产品缺陷或者拒绝召回的，都将面临更加严厉的处罚。他们可能会被处以产品价值50%的罚款。

Home appliances also fall under the new regulations. The mechanism covers five types of products, including food and toys.

新的管理条例中也把家用电器包括在内。新的召回机制中涉及了五大类产品，包括食品和玩具。
