There could be some unexpectedly good news for drivers this summer. Experts predicted gas prices will actually fall as Memorial Day approaches, instead of the usual steady climb. Drivers can thank rising supplies and concerns about the global economy for keeping prices down.
A new poll finds the Gulf of Mexico oil spill hasn’t stained President Barack Obama. An AP poll found 42% support the president’s actions while 33% disapprove, the poll found that BP, the company that owns the well, is getting most of the public’s ire.
Doctors are having trouble explaining how a 10-year-old Dutch boy survived the plane crash yesterday in Libya. The boy was the only survivor, 103 people died as the jetliner crashed just minutes before landing. The boy had to undergo surgery for multiple fractures in both legs but doctors say he is out of danger.
The largest drug store in the U.S. is holding off selling genetic testing kits. Walgreens was expected to have the test on store shelves later this month, but the store has decided to pull the kits after the Food and Drug Administration raised concerns with the kits’ manufacturer.
