He could not help but smile to himself when he got the affirmative reply from his friend. When he heard the barista call his name, he approached the counter to pick up his order. Initially, he wanted to spend some time with the reporter since he thought his friend would not be available for dinner. When he found out otherwise, though, he could not wait to leave the cafe. Of course he allowed for time to finish his meeting with the reporter when he texted the meeting time to his friend.
