作为中国好声音第一季第一位出场的学员，是来自辽宁省彰武县黄鹤，外号“黄大嗓”，是一名20岁学生。她赤脚演唱Adele的经典歌曲《Rolling In The Deep》，让三位导师齐齐回头。她觉得光脚唱歌让她觉得很舒服很踏实，让她感受到踩着家乡泥土的感觉。那英更是上场与其共唱《征服》。最后，在三位老师的争夺下，成为那英的第一位学员。

节目播出之后，很多人都对于黄鹤充满激情的表现给予了肯定，但是谈到自己在节目中的表现，黄鹤谦虚地说道，“我那天真的太兴奋了，再加上压力太大，发挥得不是特好，最后有点没收住，因为我真的什么电视节目都没参加过”。当记者表示那天黄鹤的表现还是不错的时候，黄鹤立即说道，“我唱歌破音的地方都能听出来，当时一张嘴的就不知道是怎么了，好像有点卡口水，我其实往舞台走的一道都紧张”，“要是那天我能表现得再轻松一些的话，他们还能早点转过来”黄鹤笑着说道。
