《新邻里联防》是拿“邻里联防”开涮的同名喜剧片，“邻里联防”作为美国在9·11事件发生之后，为打击和防范恐怖主义活动，在民间启动的一项计划，由于它让居民之间进行相互监视，因而在某些人看来带有强烈的讽刺和荒诞感。《新邻里联防》由曾经执导《飞车手罗德》的导演阿吉瓦·沙弗尔执导，塞斯·罗根与埃文·戈登伯格继《超级坏》之后再度联手编剧，于7月27日北美上映。

The Watch is a 2012 science fiction comedy film directed by Akiva Schaffer and written by Jared Stern, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. It stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade. The film follows Evan (Stiller), Bob (Vaughn), Franklin (Hill), and Jamarcus (Ayoade), a group of neighbors who form a suburban neighborhood watch group and use it as a front to get away from their families. However, when they accidentally uncover an alien plot that threatens the world, they are forced into action.
