Also known as Fast Six, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Paul Walker and Eva Mendes are all rumoured to be back. Director Justin Lin (who also made the previous three films) has suggested that a seventh may be shot simultaneously, with a continued storyline connecting the two movies.

日前，主演之一的道恩·强森透露，《速度与激情6》计划在今年五月开机，而两部片子也将分别取景英国和德国。

不过强森也谈到，虽然第六、第七部在剧情方面紧紧相连，但他们并不准备一口气拍完，“我们曾经计划连续拍摄，但将所有台前幕后同一时间集合在一个地方，实在是有些难度。当然，这其中还要考虑两个国家的天气因素。就我所知，我们会在五月进组开拍《速度与激情6》，至于第七部可能会稍稍迟一些。”

早前主演范·迪塞尔曾解释了为何要打造两部电影的原因，在《速度与激情6》叙事主线构想完成后，他们发现这绝非一部电影能容纳的内容，“我们需要两部的时长来展开故事”。

据悉，《速度与激情6》由林诣彬继续执导，初步定于2013年5月24日上映，这也是时隔7年之后，《速度与激情》系列电影重回暑期档。
