《西部世界》改编自1973年的同名电影，讲述了一个名叫“西部世界”的未来乐园，在那里客户们可以体验任何犯罪或者被禁止的事情，而这个乐园也将成为人工意识的黎明。在E01S03中，机器人好像出了些故障，他们慢慢开始拥有自己的意识，泰迪与一位妓女谈话的时候，伴随着《In  dreams》这首歌，妓女好像慢慢回忆起了他们被制造的过程……
