《福尔摩斯:基本演绎法第2季》是约翰•波尔森执导，约翰尼•李•米勒等主演的电视剧。在E02S09中，一名连环杀手数次犯案，但警方始终无法破案，导致该案成了悬案。如今福尔摩斯和华生好不容易查出了凶手的真实身份，却因此和纽约警署发生了矛盾。福尔摩斯受到了犯罪者的威胁，脾气暴躁的他打算要去陷害犯罪者，还好在最后他找出了线索，解救了受害者。这首插曲在福尔摩斯阐述自己性格时响起，诉说着这个传奇人物。
