On Wednesday, NBC broke the news about the cast's anticipated participation in a special to honor legendary TV director James Burrows, who recently directed his milestone 1,000th episode of television. At the time, the network said it was not yet determined whether the entire cast would be in the same room for the event.
周三的时候，NBC宣布说《老友记》剧组要重聚，以此向传奇导演James Burrows致敬。而James Burrows最近刚刚执导完成他的第1000集电视剧，算是个里程碑。同时，NBC也说了，目前还不能确定到时候所有成员都能到场。

"From what I've been told by Sean Hayes, he said we're all going to come up on stage and talk about Jim and give him a hug," Schwimmer added. So it's lovely there's an event that honors him and so many people that love him and so many people whose careers were helped [and] defined by him."

The tribute to Burrows will air on NBC on Feb. 21.
