heart-warming

heart-warming的意思是暖心的，感人的，令人满意的，例如：

heart还可以参与构成其他表示心理感受的词语，如：

heart-struck; heartstriken; heartsick; heartsore; heartending; heartbreaking等表示“悲伤的”（程度深）

To observe thing around you in a cat's view, maybe the used captious boss and heart-struck lost love will be abandoned away from your life.
用猫的视角来观察周围的事物，也许之前挑剔的老板、伤心的失恋早已被抛在生活之外。

Time dulls the most exquisite emotions and softens the most heartrending grief.

heartburning表示“强烈的妒忌，不平，不满”

heartquake表示“震撼人心的”

sodden

sodden的原义是“全身湿透的，浸湿的”：

Rain saturated their clothes, leaving them sodden.
雨水渗透了他们的衣服使他们浑身湿漉漉的。

Brangwen went about at his work, heavy, his heart heavy as the sodden earth.
布兰温忙着干活，心情宛如浸湿的土地一样沉重。

He lay back with his eyes shut, still sodden in the atmosphere of the dream.
他闭上眼睛躺着，仍浸沉在梦境中的气氛里。

“全身湿透”是种很狼狈的状态，所以图中的句子用这个词来表示“悲伤的、凄苦的”。

sodden还可以表示“呆滞的、麻木的”：

He was soddened by the terrible news.
他被这可怕的消息惊呆了。
