1. fighting fit

fighting fit的意思是非常强健的，形容身强体健还可以说muscular，比如：

muscular arms/legs
肌肉发达的手臂／双腿

要注意的是，如果你要夸别人看起来很健康，最好不要说“You look healthy“。

Healthy这个字表面上看来是健康，但它也是近几年来流行的委婉说法，意思是胖嘟嘟、圆润的。

“You look great“和“You look well“都可以。

2. be none the wiser

如果你说某人经历某件事或者听过解释之后依然“be none the wiser”，你的意思是说他们依然不明白，或者完全没有意识到发生了什么。

He seems to be none the wiser after all this.
经过这一切后他看来还是那样稀里糊涂。

I've read the instructions twice and I'm still none the wiser.
我已经读过两遍说明书了，可还是不明白。

3. go down a storm

要说某件事受欢迎或很成功，你可以说它“go down a storm”。

Last night's party went down a storm, it was incredible.昨晚的派对非常成功，令人难以置信。
