现在国内很多面包店也都有法棍出售了。不过童鞋们大都觉得它又硬又难啃,不知道老外为何迷恋它?今天【我爱卡路里】就给大家介绍一道法棍料理,简单美味,很适合在初夏的季节里当周末早午饭。其实用对的烹饪方法,法棍真的可以变的很美味哦!

Bruschetta with Tomato and Basil Recipe

番茄罗勒烤法棍

Ingredients

材料

* 6 or 7 ripe plum tomatoes (about 1 1/2 lbs)
6到7粒李子番茄(国外的一种番茄品种,较甜,建议大家用圣女果代替)

* 2 cloves garlic, minced
两粒大蒜,切碎

* 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil 
一茶匙初榨橄榄油

* 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
一茶匙意大利果醋(可以用苹果醋代替,但最好别用米醋)

* 6-8 fresh basil leaves, chopped.
6-8片新鲜罗勒叶,切碎(实在没有也可以用干罗勒)

* Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
盐和新鲜碾碎的黑胡椒粒

* 1 baguette French bread or similar Italian bread
一只法棍或者类似的意大利面包

* 1/4 cup olive oil
1/4杯橄榄油

Method

制作方法

1. Prepare the tomatoes first. Parboil the tomatoes for one minute in boiling water that has just been removed from the burner. Drain. Using a sharp small knife, remove the skins of the tomatoes. (If the tomatoes are too hot, you can protect your finger tips by rubbing them with an ice cube between tomatoes.) Once the tomatoes are peeled, cut them in halves or quarters and remove the seeds and juice from their centers. Also cut out and discard the stem area. Why use plum tomatoes instead of regular tomatoes? The skins are much thicker and there are fewer seeds and less juice.

1. 先把番茄在热水中滚一分钟,然后剥皮、去梗,切成块状并且去掉籽和汁水。为什么挑选这种品种的番茄就是因为它的汁水较少。


2. Make sure there is a top rack in place in your oven. Turn on the oven to 450°F to preheat.

3 While the oven is heating, chop up the tomatoes finely. Put tomatoes, garlic, 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, vinegar in a bowl and mix. Add the chopped basil. Add salt and pepper to taste.

3. 预热烤箱的同时把番茄切碎。把番茄、大蒜、初榨橄榄油和醋搅拌均匀。放入切碎的罗勒叶,最后加盐和胡椒调味。


4 Slice the baguette on a diagonal about 1/2 inch thick slices. Coat one side of each slice with olive oil using a pastry brush. Place on a cooking sheet, olive oil side down. You will want to toast them in the top rack in your oven, so you may need to do these in batches depending on the size of your oven. Once the oven has reached 450°F, place a tray of bread slices in the oven on the top rack. Toast for 5-6 minutes, until the bread just begins to turn golden brown.

4. 把法棍切成厚片,用一面蘸上橄榄油。让有油的那面朝下、放上烤架。可能你需要按你的烤箱大小决定分批烘烤。烤箱预热完毕之后就把烤架放进去烤5-6分钟。直到面包开始变得金黄。


5. Align the bread on a serving platter, olive oil side up. Either place the tomato topping in a bowl separately with a spoon for people to serve themselves over the bread, or place some topping on each slice of bread and serve. If you top each slice with the tomatoes, do it right before serving or the bread may get soggy.

5. 把烤好的面包拿出,将刚刚拌好的番茄放在每片面包上。不过最好吃之前再放上去,否则面包会绵。

小编提醒:如果你没有烤箱也没关系,这道菜完全可以用平底锅完成,只要把面包蘸上橄榄油,放入平底锅里煎,效果和烤箱一样!另外如果你喜欢芝士,也可以在吃的时候加上一点,味道会很棒哦!
