Michael Schumacher is retiring from Formula One racing again—and this time, he says, “It might be forever.”
迈克尔•舒马赫再次退出了F1的赛道——这一次，他说：“这可能将是永远的离开。”

Schumacher began his career in 1991. His first retirement came in 2006. During his 16 years of racing, he won seven world titles and 91 races. He dominated the F1 world at the start of the 21st century when he won five world titles in a row with Ferrari (法拉利车队) from 2000 to 2004.
1991年，舒马赫开始了他的赛车生涯。2006年是他的第一次退役。在他16年的赛车生涯中，他获得过7届世界冠军和91次分站冠军。21世纪开始的时候，他称霸了F1赛道，自2000年至2004年，他同法拉利车队一起获得了5届世界冠军。

In 2010, he came back to drive for Mercedes (梅赛德斯车队). The comeback has not lived up to expectations, with just one podium finish.

Schumacher says, “Although I was able to compete with the best drivers that are around, at some point it’s time to say goodbye and this time it might be forever.”

The seven-time world champion will retire after the last race of the season—the Brazilian Grand Prix (巴西大奖赛)—on November 26. He hasn’t decided what he will do after the season. He says he just wants to focus on the remaining races.
