A seminar on the cooperation between Poland and China in the maritime sector is underway at the Poland Pavilion to mark World Oceans Day yesterday.

The seminar focuses on the infrastructure, ports and inland construction of Poland and will wrap up on June 12.

Anna Wypych-Namiotko, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland, said the Expo provides a good platform for the maritime cooperation between Poland and China. He hoped the direct talks between the two nations would help Chinese people learn more about the economy of Poland.

Bogdan Marczewski, deputy commissioner general of Poland, said Poland is more than willing to establish broader links with China in the maritime field.

Bogdan Marczewski表示，波兰是个快速发展的国家，一直重视对外开放，波中两国的海事合作很早就建立了关系，波兰是中国多年的老朋友，非常愿意和中国在 海事等方面建立更加广泛的联系。

“上海是中国的海事中心，也将成为世界级的海事城市，此次研讨会的召开，可以更好地加强双方的海事合作，并对将来的合作方式提出更好的完善方案。” 中波轮船股份公司总经理Janusz Janiszewski热情地表示。

据悉，波兰馆预计在6月9日上午迎来第一百万名游客，他们已经准备好“大礼”迎接这位幸运的游客。
