04月16日：We can hardly arrive home before five.我们很有可能五点之前到不了家。

例如： We have come all this way to arrive at a decision. Do not upset the apple cart now.（我们好不容易要做出决定，现在可不要打乱步骤。）

04月18日：To the point, please.抓重点的说。

old story：老一套，陈词滥调
例如：You can't put the old story across your shoppers.（不要再以你的老一套来哄骗你的买主了。）
          We are tired of hearing the old story.（这老话我们都听腻了。）

04月22日：The effect seems immediate.效果很明显。

1.immediate：adj. 立即的，即刻的，直接的
例如：The advantage for new users will be immediate and significant.（对于新用户来说，好处是显而易见的。）
         This is not my immediate topic.（这不是我要直接讨论的题目。）
